Inmates Cycle to Freedom
Ronaldo da Silva hops on a bicycle. He pedals fast. He goes several miles before slowing down and jumping off. But he hasn’t traveled an inch.
Silva is in prison in Brazil. By pedaling a stationary adj. staying in one place bike, he charges a car battery. This battery powers street lamps in the town square near the prison.
