Sally Ride Blazed a Trail Into Space
Space used to be a man’s world. Sally Ride changed that. She blazed a trail (idiom) was the first to do something into orbit n. curved path in space around an object for women. Then she made sure young girls could follow their own paths into science.
Ride died of cancer on July 23. She was only 61. But she made the most of her life on Earth and in the skies.
